Weiland Health Initiative
Queer Student Resources (QSR) founded the Weiland Health Initiative as a legacy wish from the late Ric Weiland who was a Stanford graduate and software pioneer. He generously funded what now serves as a vital partnership between Vaden Health Center and the LGBT Community Resources Center. The initiative began as a small-scale project for two years before it was officially launched in fall quarter 2011. The Weiland Health Initiative promotes the health and wellbeing of students of all gender and sexual identities at Stanford.
